Disappearances in National Parks

I‘ve read one story after another of deaths and disappearances in National Parks. I initially formed the opinion that they had existed for centuries and only in remote areas of the parks. I formed this opinion because Native Americans talked of Wendigos and Skinwalkers, which have haunted their tribes for centuries. However, there are new horrors in the Parks: deer with human heads, men with heads of stags, complete with antlers, dogman, a wolflike head with a body that is awesomely strong, Bigfoot or Sasquatch, which is so strong it can tear a tree out of the ground. There is also a dogman that lives in the water, having a human head and a dog body 8 feet long. There are aliens and phenomena that I will describe which are hard to believe, like the Shimmer. It’s almost like the observer is tripping on something, but these observers are stone cold sober park rangers.

One of the stories concerns government agents trying to put down the dogman population in a National Park. Before I go any further, I believe they felt responsible for the deaths these creatures caused, therefore the government had some kind of breeding program (of course I can only guess the reason for any program that might have existed). The Park ranger, Lincoln, who discovered the activity of the program, had been working in the Park for 20 years, but for the last 10 years, he said, “the park has transformed into something terrifying, a realm filled with dark secrets that I never thought I would uncover.” Nevertheless, Lincoln started his morning routine, just like every other morning. From the accounts I’ve read, apparently each ranger has a certain route in the trail system which he/she covers every day and sometimes at night. They check trail markers, check that people have the correct documents for hunting and fishing, check to see if campers are OK and I suppose do many things that I don’t have the least knowledge of. Rangers don’t usually carry side arms, but the ones who have these experiences start carrying their rifles.

Lincoln, on the morning in question, had a feeling that something wasn’t right, or that something was going to go wrong. There had been disappearances. Sometimes there can be several disappearances in a Park and they are all covered up by the authorities, who tell the rangers to keep their lips zipped. They say, “If you tell anyone, the Park will be empty. No one will come. We will all lose our jobs. All the businesses that depend on the Park will close and more people will lose their jobs. Is that what you want?” But Lincoln didn’t stay quiet; he wrote an account of his experience which is being read by the public. When he was on patrol, he noticed a truck in a remote area with a strange insignia on it. He noticed men in tactical gear. Lincoln monitored them for several nights as he patroled the trails. He men seemed tense and nervous. They took equipment out of the truck and pointed a camera toward a thicket of trees. They analyzed the data coming from the equipment, but didn’t discuss it much. Another odd thing to the ranger was that the men were in an area where there had been disappearances. On the fifth day Lincoln peered at the men from the bushes, one of the men turned and walked toward him. Lincoln took this opportunity to find out what was going on. “Excuse me,” he whispered. “Who are you?” the man said defensively. “What are you guys doing out here?” Lincoln asked. The man led him deeper into the woods. He said,”What I’m going to say you won’t believe, but you need to know. People aren’t vanishing, they’re being hunted.” Lincoln asked, “Hunted by what?” “It’s a creature, a monster; it looks like a werewolf-this massive, grotesque creature that hunts in packs.”

The word ‘Dogman’ floated into Lincoln’s mind. The man told him the government was trying to keep it a secret (!) and deal with it secretly (!) He showed Lincoln horrific pictures on his phone of people half-eaten by these creatures. They didn’t kill because they were hungry; they kill for sport and only ate certain organs. During the next few weeks the forest became a web of tension and dread for Lincoln. One night the wolfman pack attacked the camp and left some dead. Lincoln wanted to tell his Park superiors what had happened and while he was observing the clean-up operation,”I noticed that anybody who wanted to go against the government’s narrative and report this incident would inexplicably disappear. The man I had spoken with was nowhere to be found and I feared for my life. I was truly alone, a mere ranger caught in the crosshairs of a monstrous conspiracy.” In my opinion the federal government through one of its black operations created this mess. In the book I’m reading now, a hiker is chased by a dogman who seems to have paranormal abilities. Some say Bigfoot also has paranormal abilities and may even be from another planet or dimension. There is another type of dogman, which is a water animal and has a human head and a dog’s body 8 feet long.

Disappearances occur when people are found later miles away with no memory of how they got there. This can occur if people are abducted by aliens, and people in National Parks see alien craft and mysterious lights on a regular basis. People see craft enter mountains, lakes and take off from under the water of lakes. The craft give off blue lights while under water. A hiker took an evening walk around a lake; he looked into the blue light under the water and that’s the last thing he can remember until he woke up miles away with no idea how he arrived at that location. One time a ranger saw a hill open up and a craft fly in to the opening. That night two men in black suits came to his door and told him not to report anything he witnessed. This not only terrified the ranger but it puts him in a bind. Most of his job is protecting the people who use the Park. The other part of his job is protecting the Park. He is not doing either job if he let’s these incidents go unreported. And joining in the conspiracy of silence makes them complicit in what happening in the Park. But there is hope; more and more rangers are telling their stories and the public is reading them. Maybe some of these Parks will be closed until they are safe for people to visit.
